Medical Skin Care
Acne
We manage inflammatory acne using clinical interventions like acne injections and medical-grade peels to resolve active breakouts and minimize scar risk. For chronic cases, we treat acne as a systemic condition evaluating hormonal health, gut function, and stress markers to heal the skin barrier from the inside out.
Skin Rash
Rashes can signal anything from contact irritation to an underlying autoimmune or hormonal condition. Your Tia clinician will evaluate the rash, identify the trigger, and prescribe targeted treatment whether that's a topical medication, lifestyle adjustment, or further workup.
Eczema, Rosacea and Psoriasis
Flares of eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis are often tied to stress, hormonal shifts, diet, and environmental triggers. We help you build a long-term management plan that includes prescription treatments when needed, plus guidance on the daily habits and products that keep your skin calm between flares.
Moles, Warts, Lesions, and Skin Growths
We evaluate any new, changing, or suspicious spots and remove them in-office when appropriate. The procedure may include a biopsy (removing a small sample for lab testing) or cryotherapy (freezing abnormal tissue with liquid nitrogen).

Aesthetic Skin Care
Injectable Wrinkle Treatments
We use Botox or Xeomin, a purified neuromodulator, to soften expression lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. Our clinicians favor a natural-looking approach that preserves movement while smoothing the areas that bother you most.
Acne Scars
Post-acne texture and discoloration respond well to layered treatments, typically a combination of microneedling, chemical peels, and prescription topicals. We'll build a plan based on your scar type (rolling, boxcar, or pigmented) and how your skin tolerates treatment.
Topical Skin Care (Retinol)
Prescription-strength retinoids remain the gold standard for anti-aging, acne prevention, and skin renewal. Your clinician will prescribe the right formulation and strength for your skin type, and guide you through the adjustment period so you get results without irritation.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels at Tia resurface the skin to improve tone, texture, fine lines, and pigmentation. We offer a range of strengths, from gentle refresh peels to deeper resurfacing, matched to your skin's needs and downtime tolerance.
Red Light Therapy
Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths to reduce inflammation, stimulate collagen, and accelerate healing. It pairs well with microneedling and peels, and is a gentle option for calming active breakouts or supporting skin recovery.
Microneedling
Microneedling at Tia creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger your skin's natural collagen production, improving texture, scarring, and firmness over time. Most patients see best results from a series of three to six sessions spaced a few weeks apart.

FAQs
Who should book an Yearly Skin Exam?
Anyone with suspicious moles, a family history of skin cancer or new skin changes should book an annual skin exam with our expert providers. We’ll do a head-to-toe check to spot early warning signs, perform biopsies if needed, and give you peace of mind that your skin is being taken seriously.
Who should book a Skin Care Consultation?
Anybody who’s not sure where to start, wants expert guidance on their skin goals, or is curious about which treatments or services are right for them. A consultation is the best first step if you’re weighing options and want a personalized plan.
Does Tia treat acne and rashes?
Yes. We treat acne, rashes, and more with prescriptions, procedures and integrative support. Our team evaluates what is driving your symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan.
What makes Tia’s skin care different?
Most dermatology clinics or med-spas only focus on the surface. At Tia, we see your skin as a part of your whole health. That means, we connect skin changes to hormones, stress, and lifestyle factors. Your care is coordinated across one team, from primary care to aesthetics, so nothing gets missed.
Which skin care appointments are covered by insurance?
Medical dermatology visits like Annual Skin Exam and procedures such as biopsies or cryotherapy are typically covered by insurance. Aesthetic services like Wrinkle Care, peels or red light therapy are elective and not covered.
Will I be seeing a board-certified dermatologist for my medical skin care visits?
No, you will be seeing a Tia primary care provider (a Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant, or Doctor) who has received specialized training in dermatology. They are equipped to handle many skin concerns. If your condition requires the care of a board-certified dermatologist, our team will provide a referral.
