What A Gynecologist Can Help With

Gynecologists and gynecologic care providers support your reproductive and sexual health through every stage of life, from your first visit to menopause and beyond. They help with preventive care like routine exams and screenings, but they’re also there when something feels off, like pelvic pain, unusual bleeding, irritation, or recurring infections.

You can also talk to them about birth control options, cycle changes, fertility questions, and hormonal shifts. Whether you're looking for reassurance or a fully customized care plan, your gynecological care providers can help you feel more in control of what’s happening in your body.

What specific health concerns can a Tia gynecologist help me with?

Tia’s gynecological team can assist with a wide range of needs, including annual physicals, pap tests, birth control counseling, STI testing, menstrual cycle issues, PCOS, Endometriosis, and more. We can also care for you across life stages like trying to conceive, postpartum concerns, and the menopause transition.

In which cities does Tia have physical clinic locations?

Does Tia offer virtual appointments, or do I have to go to a clinic?

Many gynecological concerns can be supported virtually. If in-person care is needed, we will guide you to the nearest clinic location.

What is the difference between a GYN and an OB?

A GYN (Gynecologist) focuses on your reproductive health when you're not pregnant—things like periods, contraception, menopause, Pap smears, and sexual health. An OB (Obstetrician) focuses on pregnancy care, including prenatal visits, fetal monitoring, and labor and delivery. Many providers are trained in both and are called OB/GYNs.

Can you care for me when I’m pregnant?

We provide primary care during pregnancy, but you'll still need an OB or midwife for prenatal visits and delivery, and we are happy to refer you to our network of trusted specialists.
