Acupuncturists who connect the dots between your cycle, your stress, and your health.

Whether you’re seeking relief from persistent migraines, navigating a fertility journey, or simply feeling the physical toll of burnout, our licensed acupuncturists provide a space where your symptoms are never dismissed.

What An Acupuncturist Can Help With

Acupuncturists support your body’s natural ability to heal and recalibrate, focusing on the intersection of your physical symptoms and your internal balance. They specialize in "regulating the system"—addressing how stress, lifestyle, and hormones manifest as physical tension or cycle irregularities. While they provide immediate relief for acute pain, they are also your partners for long-term wellness, helping to manage chronic conditions that often fall through the cracks of traditional care.

FAQs

Does acupuncture hurt?

The most simple answer to this question is usually not! Depending on the thickness of the skin on the areas of the body we are working on, you may feel the needles go in, but there should be no sharp or painful sensations. Once the needles are in, people describe feelings of warmth, tingling or heaviness where the needles have been inserted; these are all signs that blood flow is circulating. Believe it or not, most people actually fall asleep during their treatment.

How often should I come back for Acupuncture?

Your acupuncturist will include your custom recommendation on your care plan, but for most, we recommend following up within the first week of your first session and continuing weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks.

With more acute concerns, like pain above a 5/10 pain scale or high anxiety, it may be recommended to come in 2 times a week until those initial concerns subside.

What should I do before coming in for acupuncture?

Here are some pro tips from our provider team: make sure to eat at least two hours before your session, stay hydrated, and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.

Can I workout after acupuncture session?

We generally recommend waiting at least 1 hour or so before jumping into a workout after acupuncture, especially if it’s high intensity. If you do, make sure to drink extra water and make sure you’re well fed.

How can acupuncture help my mental health?

Acupuncture has a profoundly calming effect on the nervous system, which means it can help you feel relaxed and serene. This facilitates your body's ability to heal itself.

How many sessions does it take to see benefits from acupuncture?

We've gotten used to quick fixes, but acupuncture is about balance. While every patient is different, the benefits and longer-term improvements from acupuncture take time (we see it often takes up to 6 treatments within 3-month window). You and your acupuncturist can design a treatment plan that is right for you and your goals.
