Heart Health Assessment: What to expect?

Uncover Your Cardiovascular Health Story

This in-person visit starts with a comprehensive conversation about your full health story—from family history and lifestyle heart disease risk factors to your personal goals—and includes a targeted physical exam focused on cardiac health.

Advanced Cardiac Screening for a Clearer Picture

Next, your provider will map out the right screening tools for you, which may include our advanced cardiovascular lab panel (e.g., lipid profile), an in-office ECG (electrocardiogram), or a referral for specialized imaging to get a clear picture of your heart health.

Building Your Proactive Heart Disease Prevention Plan

Finally, you’ll review your results with your provider to co-create a personalized and proactive care plan that supports your long-term cardiac wellness and helps you manage your specific cardiovascular risks.

Heart Health FAQs

How is the Women's Longevity Assessment different than an Annual Exam?

Your Women’s Longevity Assessment goes beyond a routine annual exam. It takes a deeper look at your long-term health using advanced screening tools, genetic testing, and labs to assess heart, metabolic, inflammatory, and cognitive health. Together with your provider, you’ll build a personalized plan to help you stay healthier, longer.

Because this visit involves medical evaluation and care planning beyond standard preventive care, it’s not billed as a preventive annual exam and may be subject to a copay or deductible.

What kind of tests are involved?

Your provider will personalize your testing plan, which may include an in-office ECG, a referral for a Coronary Calcium Score (a specialized heart CT scan), and our advanced lab panel. This panel looks beyond basic numbers to assess inflammation, insulin resistance, and the size and number of cholesterol particles.

Will I get all of my results & plan in one visit?

You will leave your first assessment with clear next steps, which typically include orders for labs or other tests. You will then have a dedicated follow-up visit to review your results in detail with your provider and build your personalized, long-term health plan together.

Can you Tia refer me to a cardiologist if needed?

If your results suggest a need for more specialized care, your provider will refer you to a cardiologist. Thanks to our partnerships with leading health systems, we can connect our patients with some of the top cardiac specialists in the nation while remaining your home base for care after your specialist appointment.
