Kathleen Scheppe, LMFT

Kathleen is a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist who has completed additional training in art psychotherapy. Her work with clients focuses on the impact of trauma histories, oppressed identities, and productivity expectations on an individual's ability to manage stress, recognize needs, and connect with others. She's also trained in trauma-focused CBT, with experience assisting clients in creating narratives to heal from past trauma. She leverages a systems approach for assisting clients in navigating family dynamics and reshaping their communication styles in strained relationships and has worked extensively with the Latinx community in Los Angeles, as well as with families with young children, millenials, and the LGBTQIA population.
