Why care for Longevity matters

“With longevity, we specifically mean expanding your health span, so, expanding the amount of time that you live to your greatest vitality... and that's actually the key to helping people live longer. What I want is to be proactive and be preventive... How do we make sure it doesn't get lost in all of the other things people think about when they hear longevity?”

"“I had my Longevity Assessment follow up with the incredible Tashina Doolin to review my results, and I learned so much! Like, did you know that you can get a test to see the mix of sizes of plaque in your bloodstream? At the end of the visit, I walked away with a clear understanding of my five and ten year risk of a heart event. Spoiler alert, my risk is low and Tashina gave me thoughtful, actionable steps I can take now to help keep it that way! I walked out wishing that everyone I know could have this visit, but ESPECIALLY the women in my life. If you are a Tia patient, or are thinking about becoming one, I can’t recommend this visit enough!”"

Longevity FAQs

What is Longevity?

Longevity isn’t just about living longer, it’s about feeling better, staying sharp, and improving your quality of life as you age. At Tia, we define longevity as extending your health span instead of just your lifespan.

Our care is designed to improve specifically to help women stay healthier for longer and focuses on the systems that matter the most for women as they age: heart health, cognitive health, inflammation, and more.

Who should book the Women’s Longevity Assessment?

Tia’s Women’s Longevity Assessment is for anyone who wants to better understand their long-term health, even if they feel fine today. It’s especially great for women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s who are thinking about prevention. Whether you are curious about getting answers with lab testing, wanting to catch health issues early, or just want clarity about your future health, this appointment is a proactive step towards improving your health so you feel your best for longer.

What makes Tia’s Longevity care different?

Most longevity services are built around male biology, a long list of unnecessary labs, and a DIY approach that leaves you with a confusing PDF of results. Tia’s longevity care is different. It’s built for women by women’s health experts with proactive screening, evidence-based and whole-person care that’s tailored to your health risks, life stages, and future health goals.

We focus on tests that actually matter for how women age and your unique biology. Every visit includes 1:1 time with a care provider that helps interpret your results from a women’s health lens and partners with you to come up with a personalized care plan.

We help you address the conditions that impact your quality of life, build resilience against chronic stress.

What happens during a Women’s Longevity Assessment?

Tia’s Women’s Longevity assessment is a 30-minute virtual or in-person visit designed to understand your health goals, risks and priorities. You’ll meet 1:1 with a Tia provider to review your personal and family medical history, discuss lifestyle factors, and share what you want to focus on.

Together, you’ll decide which advanced labs and screenings make sense for you, including testing for metabolism, inflammation, heart health, cognitive health, and more. Your provider will partner with you to develop a personalized holistic care plan, which may include referrals, follow-up steps, or additional testing.

Can I get the Women's Longevity Assessment virtually?

Yes, the Women’s Longevity Assessment is now offered virtually! You can choose to have your appointment in-clinic or virtually.

How is the Women's Longevity Assessment different than an Annual Exam?

Your Women’s Longevity Assessment goes beyond a routine annual exam. It takes a deeper look at your long-term health using advanced screening tools, genetic testing, and labs to assess heart, metabolic, inflammatory, and cognitive health. Together with your provider, you’ll build a personalized plan to help you stay healthier, longer.

Because this visit involves medical evaluation and care planning beyond standard preventive care, it’s not billed as a preventive annual exam and may be subject to a copay or deductible.
