Service List - New York

Price transparency is key to ensuring access and preventing surprise medical bills. If you're an existing Tia member, you can reach out to our Care Coordinators who can provide a detailed estimate on the service or appointment you're interested in. We also recommend reading our guide for help confirming your insurance benefits.

Important billing reminders:

If you have in-network insurance with Tia, we will submit your claim to your health insurance company first. We recommend contacting your health plan to check if a service is covered and any patient responsibility like copays, deductibles or coinsurance. If there is a remaining balance after your insurance company has paid their portion, we will bill you for your patient responsibility.

Tia does not process labs or specimens directly, regardless of your in-network status. A third party (Quest, for example) will bill you directly for these services. Learn more about Lab Billing at Tia.

FAQs

What are cash prices?

Cash prices are the costs for medical care associated with an appointment or procedure. These costs aren’t reimbursed by insurance. In some cases, patients have the option of billing insurance (if accepted) or paying the cash price out of pocket, so Tia strives for transparency on what we charge.

Why are cash prices different by clinic?

Healthcare prices vary by region for most healthcare providers including Tia, based on factors like labor costs (such as physician or therapist wages), costs associated with having in-person clinics (like real estate and medical supply costs), and based on terms set in partnership with health plans in different markets. Tia aims to provide price transparency for services by market to enable access and to avoid surprise medical bills.

What if I have insurance coverage and don’t pay cash for services?

If you have in-network coverage with Tia then your health plan will be billed the cost of your medical care. However, patients are still responsible for their co-pay and/or coinsurance depending on your plan. We always recommend calling your health plan to check your deductible and in-network coverage.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or UnionPay. We do not accept cash or checks at this time.

I can't find my procedure/service, what should I do?

We recommend messaging a care coordinator in regards to the procedure/service you are looking for. If we offer the service we can send you a link to book your appointment with cost information, or send you contact information for a referral.
