Tia’s Whole Health Foundation
Tia’s Whole Health Foundation is built around three visits that brings your history, your labs, and your health concerns and goals into one unified Care Plan, truly personalized to you.
The Tia Whole Health Foundation is a personalized, comprehensive care process designed to address your unique health needs. It typically consists of two to three appointments, starting with a virtual Establishment of Care (EoC) appointment to review your health history and develop a tailored Care Plan, followed by in-person visits for preventive care and any necessary follow-ups.
To start your Whole Health Foundation, you can book an Establishment of Care (EoC) appointment through Tia's online platform. This initial virtual consultation allows your Care Team to understand your health history and current needs, setting the foundation for your personalized care.
Yes! While the membership fee is a separate cost that covers access to Tia’s care model, most medical services (like annual exams, sick visits, and therapy) are billed through insurance. We accept many major insurance plans, and our team can help you understand what’s covered. Your out-of-pocket costs may vary based on your insurance coverage. We recommend contacting your health plan to confirm coverage details before booking.
Yes, your new patient visit is typically covered if Tia is in-network with your insurance. "Covered" means we can bill your insurance. However, you may still owe a co-pay, deductible, or other costs depending on your specific plan. To avoid surprises, please verify coverage and potential out-of-pocket expenses with your insurer beforehand or Tia members can reach out to their Care Team.
If it's been more than 365 days since your last annual or gynecological exam, and you stick to preventative topics, this visit should be fully covered if you're in-network with Tia. If you discuss new health concerns, your insurance may treat part of the visit differently and apply costs like a co-pay or deductible. We recommend checking with your insurance before booking to avoid surprises.
If Tia is in-network with your insurance, this visit will be billed to your plan as an office visit. Please know that "covered" doesn't mean free; you might still have out-of-pocket costs like a co-pay or deductible. We advise confirming your specific coverage and any potential costs with your insurance provider before your appointment.
Tia operates on a paid membership model, providing access to their comprehensive care services. Membership includes benefits such as access to a range of specialties, such as gynecology, primary care, acupuncture, skincare, and wellness.

Plus, with on-site labs and a dedicated care team, we help streamline referrals, prescriptions, and insurance so you can focus on feeling your best.
Tia is offering a better way to care for women’s bodies and minds, at every stage of life.
We totally get it and you can absolutely book just the annual. There’s something important to know: annual preventative exams are designed specifically for routine preventative screenings. If you bring up any health concerns during that visit, your insurance may treat this as a "problem visit" and you may receive a bill for an office visit. That’s why we recommend starting with Tia’s Whole Health Foundation. Your first visit gives you dedicated time to talk through your concerns, set your goals, and build a care plan with your provider. That way when you come in for your annual it’s focused on exactly what it’s meant for and there are no billing surprises.
That’s okay! While it’s not required, we recommend starting here because women’s health is complex, and you deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach. This pathway allows us to deeply understand your history, goals, and results from the start. Many of our members find it’s the best way to finally feel heard and seen as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms.
The New Patient Visit and the Lab Review & Care Plan Generation visit are billed as "office visits", meaning copays, co-insurance, or deductibles will apply depending on your insurance and your plan. The Annual Preventative Exam is billed as "prevention", meaning your insurance is likely to cover this visit 100% if the focus is on preventive screenings, not new health concerns. We recommend reaching out to our care team or checking with your insurance provider so we can give you a clear picture of what to expect. We want you to feel confident before you walk in the door.
Your health deserves more than quick fixes and disconnected visits. Begin with a personalized plan that brings your history, labs, and goals together so your care is always connected.
