Insurance Coverage Update: UCSF & Cigna Negotiation Resolved

Great News: Agreement Reached

Updated: 6/29/2026

We are pleased to inform our community that UCSF and Cigna have successfully finalized a new contract agreement. Tia’s partnership with UCSF means that Cigna insurance will continue to be accepted as an in-network network provider at Tia without interruption.

What This Means for Patients

For existing patients at Tia

Your coverage remains intact. If you had visits during the negotiation window, those claims will now be processed as in-network. You may notice a slight delay in receiving your Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) as the systems process backlogged claims, but no action is needed on your part.

For new patients

We are fully accepting new patients with Cigna PPO plans as in-network. You can book your initial appointments with confidence that your care is covered under standard in-network benefits.

We deeply appreciate the patience of our patients, partners, and community during this period. If you have specific questions about an upcoming visit or bill, please contact a Tia care coordinator.
