FAQs

Does membership include the cost of appointments?

Your Tia membership includes access to a Care Coordinator, virtual and in-person appointments, community programming, and more. Membership does not include the cost of appointments, but as a member you can use your insurance for gynecology, primary care, and, depending on your insurance, acupuncture too!

Can I get my annual physical at Tia?

Yes, through our annual Whole Health Exam!

We fuse your gynecology and primary care check-ups (& more!) into a singular, cohesive experience that’s personalized, actionable, and convenient. We intentionally separate your virtual health assessment from your in-person exams and services (delivered at the clinic) so that you get more 1:1 time with your provider, plus additional opportunities for check-ins throughout the year to evaluate and tweak your Care Plan.

As long as you have not had an annual exam or gynecological exam in the past year (we do it all in your Whole Health Exam!) your in-clinic part 2 should be 100% covered by in-network insurance. We accept in-network insurance for part 1 and 3 but you may be responsible for a copay or coinsurance depending on your plan. We always recommend checking with your health plan before booking.

Can I use an HSA or FSA for my membership?

While we don't accept FSA/HSA cards for membership fees, you can use them for appointments and services by sending itemized receipts for reimbursement to your FSA/HSA provider.

Where can I find parking near the Los Angeles clinics?

Silver Lake:

Parking is tricky around Tia on Sunset Blvd. Here are our top suggestions:

  • Free 2-hr street parking in various places on Sanborn, Hyperion, or Effie Streets (3-4min walk)
  • Sunset Blvd (metered 2-hr, various)

Santa Monica:

  • Parking Structure 6 located a few doors down at: 1433 2nd Street ( 1.5 hour grace period for free parking). Tia will not validate for parking.
  • Metered street parking in the surrounding area.
