A Women-First Approach to Longevity — Starting with the Heart

When we set out to design Tia’s approach to longevity, we didn’t begin with the usual question: What’s the most comprehensive list of biomarkers we can run? Or even: How do we help women biohack their way to optimal health?

We started with something simpler and more human: if aging has become one of the most fearsome processes of life for women, how do we work to demystify this natural and beautiful foundation of life? How might we, as women, find confidence, rather than more fear and need, across this time?

Because here’s the truth: A huge industry has been created to make women afraid of aging and of the way our bodies look with age. We've been made to fear our breasts, our skin, our hair - and now, we're being told we need even more - more drugs, more tests - to outsmart and out-medicate our bodies from their natural flow. Now we need to trust dashboards of data reporting on “optimized” numbers that ignore how we feel in our own bodies and our own minds. But, in reality, women don’t need another overwhelming list of things to do, things to monitor, ways to improve (ways we are not hitting the mark). We don’t need to be told—again—that we’re not good enough or that we need to be supplemented, monitored, or augmented to be healthy or desirable.

We just need clear, succinct and actionable ways to be healthy, and then let us be … confident and free of worry. We need to know what’s essential to protect our long-term health — and where we can give ourselves permission to simply be.

That’s why we started with the foundation: the heart.

"...most longevity programs skip cardiovascular screening entirely — even though heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined."

Despite being the leading cause of death in women, heart health is often left out of longevity care altogether. In fact, most longevity programs skip cardiovascular screening entirely — even though heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined.

And when women do have heart attacks, the symptoms are often missed or misdiagnosed. Fatigue, jaw pain, nausea, and back pain? These are common signs of a cardiovascular event in women — and they rarely show up in textbooks written around male physiology.

At Tia, we believe longevity starts with listening differently — to the data, to the evidence, and most importantly, to women.

So we built a new kind of offering: The Women’s Longevity Assessment, designed by women’s health experts to put heart health at the center of your care.

What’s Included

Our Women’s Longevity Assessment combines advanced labs with in-person testing and 1:1 provider guidance — translating your results into a personalized care plan.

We included labs that actually matter for women — including markers your regular doctor may not test for, like Lipoprotein(a), a genetic cholesterol marker that 1 in 5 women carry, yet few have ever heard of. (It can triple your risk of early heart disease and stroke — and isn’t picked up on a standard lipid panel.)

You’ll also get:

  • Cardio-metabolic health: Lipid panel, ApoB, A1c, insulin resistance
  • Inflammation & arterial health: hs-CRP, Lp-PLA2, fibrinogen, homocysteine
  • Genetic & advanced cholesterol markers: Lp(a), ion mobility fractionation
  • Organ function: CMP, CBC, uric acid, microalbumin

Because in midlife, many women begin to experience subtle shifts — changes in metabolism, energy, mood — but their labs still come back “normal.” We call these the whispers before the storm. And our job is to hear them.

What Happens After the Lab Work

You’re not a lab report. You’re a whole person — with a body, a history, and a future. That’s why your provider walks through your results with you in the context of your goals, your symptoms, and your vision for aging well.

This is not a one-size-fits-all protocol or a printout of supplement recs. It’s a conversation, and a care plan that’s personalized — and actionable.

If you need deeper expertise, we’ll connect you with top-tier cardiologists across the country — and stay by your side throughout.

Because real longevity care isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about understanding your body, trusting your path, and caring for yourself with confidence — today, tomorrow, and for all the years to come.

What’s Next

We’re starting with heart health because the evidence is clearest and the opportunity for impact is greatest. But there’s so much more ahead. This year, we’ll be expanding our longevity offering to support women in more ways — including brain health, hormonal shifts, autoimmune conditions, cancer risk, and beyond.
