If you’ve never experienced acupuncture, the idea of needles being placed in your skin for the purpose of healing might seem a bit…terrifying. Enter:
She's our dedicated wellness expert, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, acupuncturist, herbalist, and nutritionist!
How did you come to work at Tia and what do you love about it?
I first learned about Tia through ads on the NYC subways saying "Your vagina deserves better." My first thought was "Yes, she does AND
Fun fact about work life at Tia: Pre-Covid our after-work get togethers were all about the karaoke!
It’s been a tough year for everyone, and while we’re not out of the woods, we’d love to know what healing means to you?
To me, healing means learning to listen to your body----getting in touch with what you need, what your gut, your intuition is telling you, and moving towards that. I'm so excited for Tia LA! Having seen the Tia Clinic in NYC from day 01 and witnessing all of the growing pains and lessons we've learned in how to organize everything from the space to the timing of the appointments to the way we greet patients, I'm so ready to see Tia LA come to life and put all of those lessons into place right away!
What are some of the changes you’re looking forward to making in L.A.? And what can patients look forward to from the new clinic?
There are so many amazing integrative practitioners in LA, we'll be building a referral network out here to help support our patients.
