Building a transformative healthcare company at the nexus of consumers, payers and providers requires a unique combination of healthcare “insiders” and “outsiders” who can fuse proven playbooks with new, non-traditional innovations. We are thrilled to announce the addition of three new executives to the Tia leadership team who will be strategic partners to us in scaling our "Whole Women's Health" care model — enabling growth across new partners, markets and service lines.

Dr. Kathleen Jordan, M.D.
Senior VP of Medical Affairs

As Tia’s first Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, Dr. Jordan is responsible for scaling Tia's distinct “Whole Women’s Health” clinical model, and establishing Tia as a beacon for physician recruitment and excellence across markets. In addition to Dr. Jordan’s internal leadership role, she will help facilitate new external partnerships with values and clinically-aligned health systems, where Tia can serve as a physical and digital “front door” for female patients.

Born in Cleveland to Irish immigrants and a part of a large crazy family, Dr. Jordan Kathleen went to California to complete her undergraduate degree at Stanford. After another decade of education and receiving her M.D. at UCLA, training in internal medicine and infectious disease, and adventures around the globe, she returned to San Francisco and ran her own practice for more than 15 years. Most recently, Dr. Jordan served as the Chief Medical Officer at Saint Francis Memorial, a Dignity Health hospital, working to improve the health of a complex community, starting new programs in use disorders, mental health, and gender health.

Jessica Horwitz, MPH FNP-C
VP of Virtual Care & Clinical Operations

As Tia’s first Vice President of Virtual Care and Clinical Operations, Jessica is responsible for operationalizing Tia’s in-person and virtual care platform and quality control at scale across Tia’s gynecology, primary care and mental health service lines. A rare dual clinician-operator, Jessica oversees Tia’s interdisciplinary virtual Care Team, designing systems to enable a seamless patient and provider experience across the care continuum.

Prior to Tia, Jessica ran clinical operations and clinical strategy for Nurx, a digital medicine company providing contraception, PrEP, sexual health services, and HIV care. She has extensive experience leading all things clinical and clinical operations including providers, nurses, clinical development, clinical compliance, and clinical strategy. Jessica is a family nurse practitioner and holds a Masters in Public Health. She has a deep commitment to healthcare access and re-shaping what healthcare means for patients and clinicians in both the exam room and also the board room.
