My membership fee increased $5 per month, why?

Tia is committed to bringing you exceptional care that is easy to use. We’re constantly evolving our offering based on your feedback. In our last consumer feedback pulse we received a significant volume of requests for ‘no-appointment necessary’ Rx refills and increased appointment availability (for care when you most need it).

We recognize that many solutions are on the market for ‘easy-to-use’ healthcare. While Tia will always aim to set the bar higher on high-quality and compassionate care, we also strive to remain competitive in our ‘easy of use’ options.

Therefore, in January 2025, we are launching an easier way for you to receive your prescription refills, and we have enhanced appointment availability. Our membership fee funds some but not all of the administrative and tech support we have in place to make it easier for you to receive the care you deserve. These new services provide an enhanced layer of administrative support and further facilitate your ability to simply ‘get care.’ However, providing these services increases costs and is not billable to insurance. To provide them, we are raising our membership fee to $20 / month.

The price on the website is $25/month. Why am I only being charged $20/month?

We value you as a member and understand that price increases in healthcare are challenging, even when they are minimal. We worked hard to find a solution that increased the price by only $5 for our loyal existing members. Our pricing is $25/ month for new members. We hope this is a token of our gratitude for being with us from the beginning and continuing to allow us to care for you going forward.

Will you continue to increase prices?

It is not our intention to continually raise prices quarter on quarter as some other companies have done lately. However, we need to keep pace with cost inflation so another price increase may be necessary over the next few years (but this should align with how costs are trending in general). We also continue to get feedback that members want more services in their membership Many of you have said that you would be interested in a more comprehensive membership tier from Tia. To be responsive to this, we’ve started to design a more premium membership tier option that offers an even greater level of administrative and care navigation support. As we continue to build out both memberships, we’ll continuously ask – what services should live in which membership tier so that we can maintain a highly affordable Tia membership and also appeal to members seeking more hand on support.
